花園裡的秋海棠/常春藤吊籃是我用賤價在街市買回來的。剛買回來時枝葉稀疏，葉片焦焦像被火燒過般。我隔星期用稀釋海藻液體肥料灌溉，只幾星期枝葉變得豐盛，呈漂亮的深紫紅色。花朵雪白，重瓣大朵的是「公」花，單瓣中心有黃色雌蕊的是「乸」花。
大自然真有趣，很多植物的花都是「雌雄同體」，秋海棠花不僅雌雄異體，雄花更遠比雌花漂亮吸引。
這個星期天氣驟變，氣溫由上星期的二十多度降至十二、三度，晚上更可能結霜。看來我快要為園子的植物作過冬的準備。

嘩,你已經開始為做一個"專業園丁"而做晒功課甘喎!勁!!!不如你試下種TULIP?英國天氣唔知岩唔岩種呢?而家播種,出年4,5月便開花了!
Ting ting,謝謝你的建議。英國天氣適合栽種球根類根物(bulbs)。
除Tulip(鬱金香)外，Narcissus/Daffodils(水仙)、Hyacinthe(風信子)、Allium(類似蒜頭)、crocus(蕃紅等都非常理想。因這一類bulbs在天氣凍時都處於dormant(休眠)狀態，現在栽種有利鬚根在泥土中establish。(see,我上堂有聽書0架!)
我已於上個月在supermarket用約5英鎊買了100個各式各樣的bulbs啦~~

Han, try to update your Blog more often as Dad finds it's interesting to look at it. He showed his disappointment when he found out that you do not update it frequently. He is just like a big fan of you waiting to grasp any bit of info from you, a photo even a line.
Try to post some photos with a caption in case you are too busy. I write this in English because he would not have known I have pushed you so harsh, hehehe
