It's been more than a year since the last time I was in a cinema. The health visitor at Ialington Central Medical Center encourages new mums to pick up a piece of 'normal' life by going to the baby cinema. Surely I would like to have a go at the 11:30am show of 'Magin in the Moonlight'. That also meant it involved maticulas planning.
Prior to waking up in the morning: packed milk, bottle, hot water, skybaby mattress, ear defender, normal going out essentials.
8:15am usual routine - first feeding, morning freshen up, nappy changing, morning nap
10:15am start to check bus #153 arrival time
10:30am woke baby up to catch the bus which arrived in 16minutes
10:50am caught the bus (bus was late)
11:24am arrived at Barbicans Cinema - changed nappy and grapped a bottle of water for myself
11:32am sat down in the cinema and started to warm up milk - fed the little one
11:45am show time - baby got drowsy after feeding
12:10pm baby fell asleep - I can enjoy the movie properly
I have to remark that The little one was incredibly cooperative in the whole process. While many other mums had to stand at the back of the auditorium and 'shush' or rock their babies (as u could see in the picture), I was sitting down the whole time.
I triumphed in retrieving a 'normal' life yesterday.
