甘筍蛋糕 (食譜)

結果星期日在咖啡店共賣了十多個甘筍蛋糕 ,真的很有滿足感。因為全用有機材料,製作成本費鏨不便宜,每個約60p(半英鎊),零售價為1英鎊80便士。計入人工、交通費,利潤一般。因此下次再焗同樣的蛋糕時要簡化食譜,務使成本較低。

以下是原本的食譜(好友法國時裝設計師Aude提供) --

Ingredients:
Grated carrot -- 2 cups (500g would be enough)
Sultanas -- 1/2 cups
Chopped Walnut -- 2/3 cups
Caster sugar --1cup (I reduced it to 3/4 cup and the taste is perfect)
Eggs -- 3
Vegetable oil -- 3/4 cup (I used 200g unsalted butter instead)
Self-rising flour -- 2 cups
Mixed Spice -- 2 teaspoons
Ground ginger -- 2 teaspoons
Ground cinnamon -- 1 teaspoon
Bicardonate of Soda -- 1 teaspoon

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180c
2. Put carrot, sultanas, walnut and sugar in a large bowl & add combined oil and egg.
3. Add sifted flour, spices and soda, comdined with a wooden spoon.
4. Pour into a greased tin (I used muffin tin and muffin paper cups, so I don't need to grease anything.) and smooth surface.
5. Bake for 1 hour (if you use a muffin tin, baking time is about 20-25mins, depends on individual oven.) until skewer comes out clean when inserted into centre (i used a steel fork instead).
6. Leave for 10 min before tip it over to get the cake out.

受大伯娘Sally所託,製作了美味的有機甘筍蛋糕。
嚴選的材料--大部分都是有機產品
500g 甘筍刨成幼絲

加入香料和其他材料

篩入自發粉(1kg)
